How Theode works
-
1
Capture
Theode captures information from meetings, email, WhatsApp and project documents. It identifies requirements, decisions and changes, checks them against confirmed design intent and links each item to its original source.
-
2
Confirm
Architects, clients and consultants can then question, comment on and approve changes together.
-
3
Act
Once confirmed, Theode updates the project record and helps create the follow-ups and documentation needed to act.
Questions
What is Theode?
An intelligence layer for architecture and AEC teams. Theode reads the documents, meetings and messages a project already produces, and keeps one always-current record of what the client wants, what was decided and what changed, with every item linked back to where it came from.
Is Theode a meeting notetaker?
No. A notetaker gives you a transcript of one meeting. Theode identifies the requirements, decisions and changes inside it, checks them against confirmed design intent, and carries them into a record that the next meeting, email or drawing revision can contradict. It is built for AEC language and practice rather than adapted from generic transcription.
Does Theode update the project brief automatically?
Not on its own. Theode proposes the change, shows the requirement it would supersede and the source it came from, and waits. The brief updates when someone confirms it. Nothing enters the record as fact because Theode inferred it.
Do we have to change how we work?
No. Theode joins the tools you already use, or records where you already are. No new workflow for meetings. For documents, you choose what to bring in.
Who can access the project record?
The people you invite to the project. Members, roles and access are confirmed when the project team is set up, and clients and consultants take part as named participants rather than through forwarded exports. That is what lets a change be questioned and approved by everyone it affects.
What sources does Theode support?
Online meetings, on-site and studio meetings via the Theode app's ambient capture, email, WhatsApp, and direct document upload. More sources are on the roadmap, shaped directly by early adopter cohort feedback.
How is project information protected?
Nothing enters your project record unless you put it there: meetings you record or invite Theode into, documents you upload, sources you connect. Built to handle data responsibly under both POPIA and UK GDPR.
